INTUITION
Intuition is a Network Of Excellence focused on virtual reality and virtual environments applications for future workspaces. It is funded by the European Union, and operates under the 6th Framework of the European Commission (IST). The Network includes 58 partners. COAT is dissemination manager and leader of the Working Group in Medicine and Neuroscience.
CATER
CATER introduces ICT innovations in various business processes of product development that can enhance customer relationship management, while supporting the needs of concurrent engineering teams, beyond existing practices of the industry. The innovations include: citarasa engineering, 3D do-ityourself design system with virtual reality interface, teardown reconfiguration system, design history system, and integration of CATER databases within the supply chain network. COAT is quality manager and responsible for the objective evaluation of HMI's developed in the project. We also support the HMI development during the project |

SENSATION
Sensation is a European research project on Advanced Sensor Development for Attention, Stress, Vigilance and Sleep/ Wakefulness Monitoring. COAT is conducting EEG-Measuremts. We are furthermore ethical manager and responsible for pilot testing in a Chemical Factory.
eABILITIES
eAbilities aims at developing a framework for current and future actions in research, education and technology transfer in the field of ICT accessibility in the home, vehicle and working environments in
Europe
. With this purpose, eABILITIES will enable, organise and promote the share of related knowledge, communication, facilities equipment and personnel resources. In general, the objectives are to make an extensive and detailed map of current and possible future technological developments in ICT accessibility, to organise contacts and exchanges and to identify needs, breakthroughs and bottlenecks.

HUMABIO
HUMABIO is a EC co-funded research project which will develop a novel, multimodal biometrics system aiming to improve security in sensitive environments and safety during critical operations. HUMABIO on one hand will protect high security areas, resources and equipment and on the other it will monitor the physiological state of critical process operators for the early detection of abnormal situations that might lead to human errors and potential disasters. COAT will cunduct pilot tests at airports and we are ethical manager.
TRAIN-ALL
Train-All aims to develop a computer-based training system for different land-based drivers cohorts, that integrates multimedia s/w, driving simulator, virtual driving simulator and on-board vehicle sensors, into a single modular platform. The new system will be cost-effective (create viable business), adequate both for training and assessment. The core development will be focused on driving simulators, with the realisation of several prototypes. New simulation tools will be developed for motorcycle riding, passenger car (both for novices and emergency drivers) and truck driving. The new tools include also VR-based immersive simulation tools, as well as a common architecture (ontologies-based) and a modular simulator design process for multi-user, group training.

ASK-IT
ASK-IT aims at establishing Ambient Intelligence in semantic web enabled services, to support and promote the mobility of Mobility Impaired people, enabling the provision of personalised, self-configurable, intuitive and context-related applications and services and facilitating knowledge and content organisation and processing. COAT is ethical manager and responsible for pilot testing. |

GOOD ROUTE
GOOD ROUTE aims to develop a cooperative system for dangerous goods vehicles through route monitoring, re-routing (in case of need) enforcement and driver support, based upon dynamic, real time data, in order to minimise the Societal Risks related to their movements, whereas still generating the most cost efficient solution for all actors involved in their logistic chain. COAT is ethical manager in Good Route. |
